Hello hello hello!
I come to you from my two hour dinner break in the midst of our 2nd 10 out of 12 for Miller Mississippi.
This quick little post was inspired by seeing the same Broadway show twice for the first time! It's just a little chronological list of all of the Broadway shows and national tours I've seen - mostly for my memory- but also as a little throwback post!
So here we go!
Broadway
1. The Lion King
Honestly could it get any better for my first Broadway show?
2. Anything Goes
3. Warhorse
Holy puppetry.
4. How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying
Yes for Nick Jonas.
5. Once
Boring.
6. Orphans
Ben Foster called me a sweetheart and held a two minute conversation with me. I was convinced we were going to get married.
7. Newsies
8. Bring it On
Before LMM and Hamilton. Before Taylor Louderman was Regina George. This little musical lit up my life.
9. The Color Purple
Cynthia Erivo. That is all.
10. Something Rotten
11. Hamilton
12. Miss Saigon
13. Bandstand
14. Once on this Island
15. American Son
16. King Kong
17. Once on this Island
National Tours:
1. Pippin
I definitely thought I was about to see Cory from That's So Raven starring as Pippin.
2. Newsies
Once a fangirl, always a fangirl.
3. Pippin
4. Beautiful
5. Jersey Boys
6. Book of Mormon
HELLO!
7. An American in Paris
SOBBED. BEAUTIFUL. Incredible projections and the dancing was phenomenal.
8. The Color Purple
9. The Play that Goes Wrong
Hilarious, even for the average theatre goer.
10. Something Rotten
Well, I'm back off to tech! Hope you enjoyed this little look through my show-going history- especially the throwbacks!
Much love always,
Chels💜
